Estamos felices de anunciar que los CrossFit Games del 2010 tendrán lugar en el Home Depot Center en Carson, Ca. del 16 al 18 de julio. Este es un gran paso para el "Deporte del Fitness", ya que aprovecharemos los 125 acres de esta enorme Facilidad en una de la Metrópolis más grandes del mundo.
We are very proud to announce that the 2010 CrossFit Games will be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA from July 16-18. This is a great step forward for the Sport of Fitness, as we will take full advantage of the 125 acre facility in one of the world's largest metropolises.
El área principal de competencia será el Estadio de Tenis de 8,000 puestos y el Estadio de Pista y Campo de 8,000 puestos. Este es el mismo lugar donde se han celebrado por varios años los X-Games de Verano, así que tenemos bastante libertad para alterar los campos para nuestras necesidades. Rogue Fitness está fabricando por lo menos dos estructuras de acero enormes, que se utilizarán para pruebas estándar ó tal vez no tan estándar de CrossFit.
El área principal de competencia será el Estadio de Tenis de 8,000 puestos y el Estadio de Pista y Campo de 8,000 puestos. Este es el mismo lugar donde se han celebrado por varios años los X-Games de Verano, así que tenemos bastante libertad para alterar los campos para nuestras necesidades. The primary competition areas will be the 8,000 seat Tennis Stadium and 8,000 seat Track and Field Stadium (see attached photos). This is where the Summer X-Games were held for several years, so we have lots of freedom to alter the playing fields to fit our needs. Rogue Fitness is fabricating at least two major steel structures that we'll use for standard, and maybe not so standard, CrossFit drills. The Unknown and Unknowable will definitely be a part of the 2010 Games! Check out the video for more information!

Partner 1 completes 5 sprawls and perform max rep swings on the minute, while partner 2 rests. Then partner 2 goes while partner 1 rests.*

At the beginning of the next minute partner 2 performs 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters while partner 1 catches a breather and so on until the 20 minutes are up.

Swim/Nadar: Use pool or open water
Bike: Use a Monarch ERG, stationary bike with wattage tool or something similar that can hold a load of 200+ watts
Run/Correr: Use a treadmill, set at 12% grade at 0-30 sec slower pace per mile than best 5k pace. Do not reduce the speed!
